Really proud of this Award that seals a great partnership with eminent organizations in the region (EAD, ADAFSA, KFED, GFI) and rewards the hard work put in place by the project team to establish the first Salicornia business model in UAE “from Desert Farm to Fork”. Really grateful for the #ExpoLive Innovation Grant program that gave us the opportunity to explore new territories of food processing and commercialization of these fascinating plants. I would also like to thank: the 8 progressive farmers involved in this venture; Mr. EFSTATHIOS LAMPAKIS and Prof. Meis Moukayed for their valuable support in the project with their knowledge and expertise on fish and Salicornia nutritional profile respectively. #ICBA#halophytes#salicornia#foodproducts#feed#EAD#adafsa#KFED#GFI#expo2020dubai#ExpoLive#valuechain#desertfarming#agriculturefortomorrow
